Meet David Adams, the hero of my forthcoming book, The Lights at Beacon Hill, the first story in a planned series called David’s Gift.
David doesn’t want to be a hero. He’s a quiet, shy boy who just wants to survive his final year of primary school in one piece.
However, one cool spring night, everything changes for David when he stumbles upon the wreckage of a crashed spaceship in the woods. Shocked with massive amounts of alien energy, he comes back to his startled parents with transformed hair and eyes.
At first, David’s main concern is how the other kids will react when he goes back to school. But, soon, things start to get weird. The accident has given him strange and dangerous telekinetic powers, people are starting to disappear all over town, and it seems the adults of Graveldene can no longer be trusted.
The aliens are coming, and David – armed only with his powers, his wits and his new friends Carrie and William – may be the only person who can stop them.
